Six Additional Live Tracks Added to Classic 1971 Double Live Album
The Allman Brothers Band's Legendary Performance Gets Expanded
Six never-before-released live tracks have been added to a deluxe edition of the Allman Brothers Band's classic 1971 double live album, "At Fillmore East."
The new edition, titled "At Fillmore East Deluxe Edition," will be released on November 8th and will include the original album's 12 tracks plus six bonus tracks recorded live at the Fillmore East in 1971. The bonus tracks include live versions of "Statesboro Blues," "Mountain Jam," "Hot 'Lanta," and more.
"At Fillmore East" is widely considered to be one of the greatest live albums of all time. It was recorded over two nights at the Fillmore East in New York City in March 1971 and captures the band at the height of their powers. The album features some of the band's most iconic songs, including "Whipping Post," "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed," and "Blue Sky."
The deluxe edition of "At Fillmore East" is a must-have for any fan of the Allman Brothers Band. It includes the original album in its entirety, plus six additional live tracks that offer a glimpse into the band's legendary live performances.
