Cobra Kai to End with Sixth and Final Season on Netflix
Upcoming Season Promises to Be the Biggest Yet
Netflix has announced the release dates for Cobra Kai's sixth and final season, which will debut in three parts in May 2024.
In a letter to fans, executive producers Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg revealed that the final season will be the biggest yet for Cobra Kai. "We've got some huge surprises in store for you," they wrote. "From epic fight scenes to shocking moments, this season is going to blow your mind."
Cobra Kai is a follow-up series to the Karate Kid films, starring Ralph Macchio and William Zabka as Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence, respectively. The series follows the two rivals as they reopen their karate dojos and train a new generation of students.
Cobra Kai has been a huge success for Netflix, with each season receiving critical acclaim and high viewership. The series has also been credited with reigniting interest in the Karate Kid franchise, which has led to a new film, Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Legacy Continues.
